Privacy Policy

Regzy (reg-bot.ai) helps small businesses keep track of their licenses and permits. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and who helps us run Regzy. It covers our website.

The short version:We never sell your data. We only email you. We don't send text messages today. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

What we collect

• Your account:your email address and a password. We store the password in a scrambled (hashed) form. We can't read it.
• Your business details: things you choose to tell us, like your business name, type, address, city, state, ZIP code and license numbers.
• Your questions: the chat messages you send and the forms you fill in.
• Files you upload: permits, licenses or photos you choose to send us.
• Your location, only if you allow it:we use it to find your city and state. We don't store your exact GPS location.
• Basic technical data: things like your browser, device type and IP address. We use this to keep the service safe and working.
• Where you came from: if you clicked a link in one of our emails, we may save the campaign name from that link with your account.
• Payments: Stripe handles all card payments. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

• To answer your questions about licenses and permits.
• To save your business profile and checklist.
• To send you license renewal reminders by email.
• To run your Pro plan and take payments.
• To fix problems and keep Regzy safe.
• To improve Regzy (see “Our own usage records” below).
• To reply when you contact us.

Our own usage records

We keep our own basic records of how Regzyis used. For example: page visits, sign-ups, reminders set, checkouts, and which email campaign brought you to us. We use them only to improve the service. We don't sell them.

Public license data

We use public license records from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). These records are open to anyone. They include things like a business name, license number, license type, status, address and expiration date.

We use them to look up your license, show when it expires, and remind you before it does. We may also send a short email to a business about an upcoming renewal. Public records can be out of date. Always check your license status with the agency.

Reminders are email only

We send renewal reminders by email. We don't send text messages today. If we ever add text messages, we will ask you first and update this page.

How to unsubscribe

• Every email from us has an “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom. Click it to stop those emails.
• Or email hello@reg-bot.ai and ask us to stop.

We may still send emails you need about your account, like a payment receipt.

Who helps us run Regzy

We share data only with the companies we need to run the service. Each one gets only what it needs for its job.

• OpenAI: our main AI provider. It reads your questions, forms and uploaded files so we can answer you.
• xAI: our backup AI provider. We use it only when OpenAI is not working.
• Supabase: our database. It stores your account, business profile, checklist, chat history and uploaded files.
• Stripe: takes payments. We keep only your Stripe customer ID and plan status.
• Resend: sends our emails, like renewal reminders.
• Vercel: hosts our website and servers.
• Google:our website loads a Google Ads tag. It helps us see if our ads lead to sign-ups. It may set cookies. You can block it with your browser's privacy settings or an ad blocker.
• Vercel Web Analytics: we are adding it soon. It counts page views and shows which sites sent visitors to us. It is privacy-friendly and uses no cookies.
• OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) and Zippopotam.us:free lookup services. If you share your location or ZIP code, we send it to them to find your city, county and state. We don't send your name or email.

We never sell your data

We don't sell your personal data. We don't rent it or trade it. We don't share it for others to market to you.

Keeping and deleting your data

• We keep your data while your account is open.
• To delete your account and data, email hello@reg-bot.ai from the email on your account. We will delete it within 30 days and tell you when it is done.
• We may keep payment records longer if the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, fix, download or delete your data. Email hello@reg-bot.ai. Some states and countries give you extra rights, and we will honor them.

Children

Regzy is for business owners. It is not for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this page

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. For big changes, we will also email you or show a notice on the website.
